Business

Thanks to a pro-business community, the City of Lucedale is business friendly. Both small and large sized businesses find the economy climate supportive. Lucedale hosts a very active Downtown Merchants Association, which is committed to keeping the downtown Lucedale alive and well.

“Strong” and “vibrant” are two words that best describe the economy in Lucedale and George County. Businesses have renovated historic downtown buildings giving shoppers a choice selection of specialty shops in a rich atmosphere that hints at the past.

Lucedale is home to many national and regional chains including Wal-Mart, Hudson’s, McDonalds, Burger King, Hardees, Waffle House, Subway, and many more.
